Our Mission Statement
We are a diverse community of caring people; bound together in faith, to worthip and glorify God, to spiritually nurture and support one another, and to serve Christ through service to others.
Check out our weekly devotional when you need a little pick-me-up during the week!
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) our presbytery has recommended and our Session approved canceling all church-related activities for this week.
We are currently exploring methods of live-streaming our worship service and hope to accomplish that by the end of March.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Any additional services will be announced on our notice board our Facebook page and our website.
From the Pulpit:
We are all struggling dealing with the world situation, the situation in Texas, in our county and in Palestine. Let us not forget that God is in control and that we must be faithful in our spiritual and prayer life. Just because we cannot gather in our church building, does not mean that we cannot worship God.
We should be thanking God every day for our health and happiness. Open your Bible and read a few chapters every day. I've heard it said that when you read your Bible the devil drops to his knees.
I am working very hard to make it possible for our church to broadcast a live-streaming worship service on YouTube. I have set up the links and have opened a paypal account for our church so you can donate. Until such time as that is active, please remember that many of our expenses continue regardless of whether we gather for worship or not.
I will have the church secretary send out an email when everything is ready to go. I am hoping that it will be this Sunday. Time will tell if that is possible. Until then, know that I am thinking of all our friends, family and church family and prayer daily for you all.
